10/21/08: Vote, bitches!
Get out and rock the vote, people! Vote early and often. Well, ok - just early - the 'often' thing might get you in a bit of trouble.
I'm ready for this particular election to be over - it's been very heated, and I'm finding it harder and harder not to hit people with large spiky things.
Interesting Links:
- The Daily Show - You've heard Palin railing about Small Town Values right? Here's a neat little exposè on her 'small town'.
- Keith Olbermann - Countdown - I don't normally watch this show, but someone sent me this link, and I think it's great. Olbermann goes off on the McCain campaign and their new tack on anti-american / pro-american.
05/12/08: Captcha!
I just deleted 50 some-odd spam comments from the site. Not that it wasn't nice having someone comment on this thing, but spam comments just aren't the same (plus, I have no need for Male Enhancement, tyvm). So, I've installed a plugin to do away with the spam. They should've called it Spam-away, or Spam-a-Not... maybe just I Don't Like Spam!!! (spam, spam, spam, spam). But they didn't. Morons.
It uses captcha to confound the spambots. Let's hope it works. Check it out here: http://wakka.xiffy.nl/captcha
02/06/08: The look, the feel, of blog.
Ok... not bad. The blog is now (mostly) redone, and to the best of my knowledge, no one has had any problems with formatting. Well, I haven't asked anyone, or heard from anyone, but it looks good on my laptop (and its crappy little 14" screen), and that's all the proof that I need that this remodel is a success.
Please let me know if you find any broken links (over there... to the right).
02/03/08: dammit
Ok. I'm gonna redo the blog. Too many candy-asses have complained about the formatting issues. More to the point, it looks like crap on my laptop's puny little 14 inch screen. What a pain in the ass.
Expect changes to come sometime in the next 3 to 750 days.
10/13/07: New stough.
I've decided that I didn't like Geeklog all that much, so I'm changing horses in midstream. Currently outside, on the laptop, and both kids out here with me. Aedan's in his little bouncy cradle chair thingy, and Liam is playing with Slate in as much as the following excerpt from our conversation denotes "playing".
"Yes, Liam, that's the doggy's pee pee. No.. NO... Liam do NOT touch the doggy's pee pee... Oh look, the doggy is going pee pee. Yes, Liam that's pee pee... Liam do not play IN the pee pee."
See how my days go? Danielle is in the house, cleaning. There, there... that's a good wife. It also seems that she's taken to teaching Liam how to ride her broom.
I'm in the process of trying to get a blog setup to make the daily grind of detailing my life (and the family's) as the kids grow up. I think that it'd be nice to get it on down on "paper", as it were.
So.
Aedan's bitching.
